During that Olympics no country has awarded its first medal or even its first gold medal. But therefor a team participated again after 1908 whose home cannot be found on a map: Australasia. In 1907 under this name an Australian and a New Zealander named Norman Brookes and Tony Wilding competed in Wimbledon, and could carry off the Davis Cup into their home. Thereafter such a team has competed also in the Olympic Games in London 1908 and Stockholm 1912, a combined group of New Zealanders and Australians. Under Australasia's medal winners in Stockholm were the bronze medal winner in individual tennis (hall) Anthony Wilding and Malcolm Champion, awarding gold with the swimming relay, New Zealanders.
